This privacy notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 – the Personal Data Protection Code – and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
It explains the purposes and methods of data processing and outlines the rights that may be exercised by users who connect to this website – whether directly or through links from other sites – and who browse its pages.
This privacy notice applies exclusively to data collected during visits or navigation on this website.

Contact information (e.g., personal details, email address, and any other data voluntarily provided by the data subject, including information contained in the message body) voluntarily supplied by the user through contact pages, telephone, fax, or postal mail.
Providing such data is optional; however, failure to provide it will make it impossible for the Controller to process the user’s request.
The Controller applies the principle of data minimization, retaining the information only for the time necessary to manage the request or longer if required for legal protection.
3. METHODS OF PROCESSING
Personal data are mainly processed electronically and digitally by the joint controllers and by other entities who, having been appropriately selected for their reliability and competence, perform operations instrumental to the purposes strictly connected to the use of the website, its services, and product purchases through the website (see paragraph “Entities and categories of entities to whom the data may be communicated”).
Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union to countries that do not ensure an adequate level of protection for individuals.
DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. reserves the right to delete accounts and all related data if any illegal content, material harmful to the company’s image or that of third parties, or any offensive or defamatory content promoting illegal activities is detected.
4. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
The data are processed for the provision of the following services available through our website:
- Registration on the website to access related services;
- Subscription to specific and additional services, such as our newsletters;
- Management of information or contact requests.
5. LEGAL BASIS AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL
Providing data is optional; however, pursuant to the contractual agreements between the joint controllers, refusal to provide such data will prevent DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. from fulfilling the contract or relationship to which this notice refers.
Please note that personal data recorded in the database will never be disclosed publicly.
The mandatory or optional nature of providing data is indicated each time – with reference to individual requested information – by placing an asterisk (*) next to mandatory fields.
Data processing is based on legitimate interest for contact forms and on consent for website registration. The data subject has the right to revoke consent at any time (Art. 7.3 GDPR).
Refusal to provide data or total/partial objection to processing may make it impossible for us to provide the requested services (see purpose “a”).
Refusal to allow processing for all other purposes will not affect access to healthcare-related services.
6. ENTITIES AND CATEGORIES OF ENTITIES TO WHOM DATA MAY BE DISCLOSED
In general, personal data collected through the website are not disclosed to third parties.
To provide the services requested by the user, the Controller may use and share data with external companies performing activities closely connected and instrumental to the fulfillment and execution of concluded contracts and services, such as:
- Data management and archiving;
- Banking institutions for payment processing;
- Tax authorities and other bodies for legal compliance;
- Law firms for the protection of contractual rights;
- Freelancers for administrative and accounting requirements;
- Postal and courier services;
- Third-party companies for market analysis, marketing, and communication activities.
These entities process data exclusively to carry out the services requested by clients and/or for storage on IT systems.
Data may also be disclosed to all entities to whom communication is required by law.

7. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
User data will be retained by DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. for the period strictly necessary to ensure proper provision of the requested services, unless longer retention is required by applicable laws, including accounting regulations.
Data transmitted to third-party service providers will be processed only for the time strictly necessary to perform their assigned tasks.
8. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Data subjects may exercise, at any time, the rights provided under Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them exist, to know their content and origin, and to verify their accuracy.
They may also request the updating, rectification, integration, erasure, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data not required to be retained for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed.
Furthermore, they may object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even if relevant to the purpose of collection, and to the processing of data for direct marketing, market research, or promotional communication purposes.

This privacy notice may be amended. Any substantial changes will be published at this address, and users are encouraged to periodically check this website to stay informed about the validity or updates of these conditions.
10. APPLICABLE LAW
This Privacy Policy is governed by Italian law and by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
